Welcome to the Studio

We design buildings and spaces that feel good to be in.

We work on homes, apartments and public projects.

Some projects start with a block of land.

Some start with a tired old house. Some start with a bigger idea for how a place could work better.

Our job is to listen carefully, draw clearly, test ideas properly and help turn them into something that can actually be built.

Our Story

We like architecture that feels calm, useful and well made.

Not over-designed. Not trying too hard. Just thoughtful spaces with good light, good proportions and details that make sense.

We also understand construction. That matters. It means we think about cost, approvals, structure and buildability early, not after the design is already too complicated.

What matters to us

Light
Getting the orientation, outlook and atmosphere right.

Plan
Making spaces work clearly and efficiently.

Material
Choosing things that suit the project and hold up over time.

Detail
Resolving the parts people notice, and the parts they don’t.

Buildability
Keeping the design ambitious, practical and possible to build.

Who we are

Led By

Corey Turner

Corey started the studio after working across both design and construction.

Before architecture, he worked as a furniture maker, joiner, carpenter and builder. That background still shapes the way he thinks about buildings, not just as images or ideas, but as things that need to be made well, used every day and resolved properly.

His work brings together architecture, visualisation and hands-on construction experience, helping projects move from early ideas into spaces that feel clear, buildable and considered.

The studio works with trusted consultants, builders and collaborators depending on what each project needs.
